TNGHT Head Back to the Studio
As the trap sound came to fruition in 2010, TNGHT were one act in particular which stood out as a leading light of the genre.
Whilst relatively short lived, TNGHT, which was made up of Scottish producer, Hudson Mohowke and Canada’s Lunice, only released one self-titled extended play EP which featured bass classics such as ’Higher Ground’ along with a trio of remixes.
Ever since TNGHT dropped their debut album fans have been eagerly waiting for a follow-up despite the group announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2013. However, earlier this week Mohawke took to social media to post a surreal image along with a tweet which suggested the duo were back in the studio.
Whilst the duo had somewhat of a impromptu reunion last year, it would appear that one of the most defining trap acts in the genre’s short history are planning to finally release something new in 2017.
