REVIEW: Luurk – Ain’t Coming Back

REVIEW: Luurk – Ain’t Coming BackScore 79%Score 79%

Luurk last featured on EDMR in the summer of 2017 following the release ‘Quit You’ featuring Andrew Raposo. Since then, the young producer has released a number of tracks in the interim with his sound evolve slightly from its post-dubstep origins into down-tempo, electro-charged pop.

‘Ain’t Coming Back’ is as laidback and breezy as anything we’ve heard from Luurk. The too-cool-for-school melody sets just the right atmosphere for the tracks twin vocalists, Kingdom Street. There’s a distinct summertime theme that runs throughout ‘Ain’t Coming Back’ elevating Luurk out of the sternness of previous singles to somewhere more jaunty and carefree. The track is uncomplicated yet still masterfully crafted together creating a truly accessible dance-pop beat. And potential radio airing single.
