REVIEW: Hodge ‘Raptors’

Bristolian Hodge makes a second appearance on the uber cool Berceuse Heroique imprint with his latest EP.

Titled, Exogenesis, the four-track studio offering portrays brittle polyrhythmic percussion, woofing 808 subs and ear-ripping hoover synths. The EP’s lead track, ‘Raptors’ bares all of the hallmarks of a Hodge release from the spliced garbled tones to the varied cosmic textures that work alongside creating a frenzied soundscape.
