REVIEW: Adam Beyer ‘Teach Me’ (Amelie Lens Remixes)

Leading techno imprint, Drumcode will celebrate its 200th release with a pair of hard-hitting remixes of an Adam Beyer classic.

Belgian artist and Lenske Records boss, Amelie Lens was tasked with reinterpreting Beyer’s ‘Teach Me’ which she has done so flawlessly.

Employing her frenetic energy to remix the 2014 classic, the first ‘Main Mix’ makes industrious use of the track’s vocal line teasing out the sample to almost harmonic perfection in the process.

The second remix, ‘Acid Mix’ is a brooding acid house cut delivering a stripped back 303-led bassline taking listeners through an ominous soundscape laden with relentless percussion and squelching stabs.

‘Teach Me’ (Amelie Lens Remixes) is released on January 28th.
