Houghton Festival 2018 Line-Up Complete

The full line-up for the 2018 edition of the Craig Richards curated Houghton Festival has now been announced.

In January the first wave of names announced to appear at the sold-out electronica fiesta included a mix of both rising talent and headline acts such as Ricardo Villalobos, Andrew Weatherall, Seth Troxler, Mathew Jonson, Nicolas Lutz, Ben UFO, Ivan Smagghe, Roman Flügel, Joy Orbison, Magda, Sonja Moonear, Optimo and Margaret Dygas.

The second wave of names announced to perform at Houghton Hall include Cassy, Dan Beaumont, Doc Scott, Helena Hauff, Horror Inc and Move with live performances by Khruangbin, Lost Souls of Saturn, Mulatu Astatke, Red Axes and The Mole.

The team behind Dalston music venue Giant Steps, Brilliant Corners will partner with The Analogue Foundation on their return to Norfolk this year with Donna Leake, Claude Douset, Cedric Woo, Danny Bushes and Pol Vallo amongst others.

UK tech house elder Craig Richards previously said of whilst reflecting on the success Houghton Festival had in 2017, said:

By presenting music, art and a promised experience in an honest and restrained way meant those four days in Norfolk last year were not only magical but they were believable. The setting proved to be nothing but perfect. Our aim is to build on the foundations of last year’s success, but instead of growing we’re sticking to the story with minor improvements and a strong belief in the initial concept. Artists, DJ’s and musicians will be presented with meritocracy and equality. Everyone who performs will be given a chance to shine and everyone who attends will be treated to the best of everything”.

Houghton Festival takes place on August 9th to August 12th at Houghton Hall, Norfolk, UK.
