Chase & Status Complete Recording of Fourth Album
Over the weekend Chase & Status confirmed that they have finished recording their fourth album.
The pair announced the news via an Instagram post along with the caption; ‘#album4 is signed, sealed and delivered. Release information coming soon #chaseandstatus’
As yet there is no news on a release date but what we can gauge from the official Chase and Status Instagram account is that album four will include 17 tracks. Whether any of the releases over the last year such as ‘Control’ their collaboration with 2-piece punk duo Slaves, ‘This Moment Goes Wrong’ with Tom Brennan or their latest release ‘This Moment’ featuring Blossoms will appear is yet to be announced.
In February Will Kennard (Status) revealed to MTV;
“We’ve got lots of established names on there as well. We’ve got a lot more drum and bass on there actually. I think on this album there was a real feeling of like let’s really try and get back to what got us here in the first place and why we wanted to mix at Fabric and things, so there’s some really cool D&B collabs and some really cool clubby records on there which we’re quite proud of, some of them are floating around the scene right now. But loads of features, sort of the crème de la crème of British music and some quite big surprises – I’m gonna be boring and not actually name any of them!”
We advise keeping a watchful eye on Chase & Status social media accounts for more news in the not so distant future.
